Silver Pigeon Gun Dogs

The UFTA 2011 Nationals were held at Doublehead Resort in Town Creek, Alabama.  This was a week full of events including Amateur Pointing, Open Pointing, Doubles Pointing, Flushing and Doubles Flushing with a grand total of 572 entries. Silver Pigeon Gun Dogs is pleased to announce their success at this year’s nationals.  In the Amateur Class, Briley & Rambo BOTH qualified for the finals!  Briley finished 6th (with a 2 minute 49 second run in one of her fields), and Rambo finished 13th out of 167 dogs.  In Doubles Pointing, Briley & her partner Tess fromMohr-OHI German Shorthairs won 1st place in the semi-finals  and finished 8th in the finals out of 65 teams!  In the Open semi-finals, Briley took 1st place in her trial out of 56 dogs which qualified her for the Open Finals.
